Copa de Cupid - Nottingham - 27-28 January 2007

Whip'Scar maintained their fine (and consistent) record at Nottingham Indoor Mixed tournaments by finishing second for the third consecutive event.The event will be remembered for a number of events, including  3 debuts,  2  returning players having played a single day during our victorious Copa Cabana campaign last year and, most importantly, a well spirited, highly competitive performance.

The result in the final was a sudden death loss to Flange (8-7) after coming back from a 3 point deficit with some storming D, particularly from Little Gem and Little Taz.Before that, we hadn't conceded more than 4 points in a game, winning our Semi-Final 7-1 against SuperTed (Bears).

We're getting closer every time. Next time, victory will be ours.
