Sunday 14th Jan saw MWL 2 take place and with a hardcore team of 9 we dominated again. Conceeding just 5 points all day and scoring 50 we showed just how much all our hard work pays off. We worked on a few new tactics and other teams struggled to cope with how fast we played. All in all a pretty convincing display. Well done to those that went.

By popular demand, YouTube videos are now integrated with Teamtastic. How does it work? Well all you need is the YouTube video ID of the video you want to publish on Teamtastic. Then click 'create video' from your Teamtastic menu and paste the video ID in.

It's been a busy week at Teamtastic HQ. We've added a new feature, 'Network News'. This lets you see the latest news from other teams in your network from your team's homepage, making it easy to keep track of the teams you support and play against.

Teamtastic now has Mates and Private Messages. You can add any Teamtastic member to your Mates list.

Mates are not just your team-mates, they're your mates in any team across the site. Your Mates list is similar to a friends list on sites like MySpace. The Mates list shows on your user profile page, and lets you see at a glance what your mates have been doing on Teamtastic. Of course you can browse from your mate to their list to see what connections they have.

The second weekend of July saw the first event in the 2006 UKUA Open Tour. LeedsLeedsLeeds blooded a number of younger players in a new-look squad, combining tried and tested plays with new principles and a gameplan modified to suit the long roster.

There is a new addition to your team your team's picture or icon.

You can now upload a picture of your team or your emblem to represent your team on Teamtastic.

Initially you will see the icon on your user profile - next to your team memberships on teams' Network pages and in the team directory. We'll be adding it to other places over the next little while. Edit your team's homepage to add the team icon.

Results from 2007/08 Season

The first dates for trials have been announced for next years squad selection. See the events section (link at the top of the page) to see all the events.

Training is on Saturday afternoons from 2-4:30pm at Trelai Park, Cardiff and now on Monday nights at the same venue from 5:30-7:30pm. If you have trouble finding me, I will usually be close to the car park.

Copa de Cupid - Nottingham - 27-28 January 2007

Whip'Scar maintained their fine (and consistent) record at Nottingham Indoor Mixed tournaments by finishing second for the third consecutive event.The event will be remembered for a number of events, including  3 debuts,  2  returning players having played a single day during our victorious Copa Cabana campaign last year and, most importantly, a well spirited, highly competitive performance.

Catch Those One, Two and Girls are off to Manchester for the Junior Indoor Open Nationals this weekend. 25 players are competing in three teams for the title of Junior Champions. With high hopes and hard training, Catch Those are expecting to do well, improving on plate (5th) last year in Liverpool.
