Ocean Quest Dive Club

We had a good turn-out for this year's training. A lot of new members showed up. Too bad most were a bunch of engineers that work at the base

After the first session on boat etiquette, the pizza arrived and we chowed down heartily. I had to leave after I had wolfed some down for a prior engagement with shewhomustbeobeyed so I regretfully said my goodbys.

I met a two other divers earlier this week. Diving came up in a general conversation as they most times do. One told me that she and her boyfriend had given up on diving due to the cost of riding the cattle boats around here.  Imagine that! Ocean Quest to the rescue!! *think Lone Ranger theme song* She was excited to hear about us and I expect them to be at the next meeting.

The other diver works at the community college. He retired as a fire fighter and was a certified rescue diver with the county rescue system.
