I've made a site for my team. What's next?
Here are a few quick things you can do to get the ball rolling.
- Style your site - Make it look pretty! We give you a random colour scheme to get you started. Use the 'site styler' menu option at the top of the page to make it your own - choose your colours and layout and upload banner images. Try the preset 'palettes' as a starting place for colour schemes, or take a look at other teams' sites for ideas.
- Create content - Try publishing a test story. You create all content - stories, events, images, forum topics - using the relevant links in the left-hand menu. You can modify or delete content any time so just have a play.
- Invite the team - Get everyone else on board. If your team is 'moderated', 'open' or 'invite only', send an email invite using the 'invite friends' link. Your teammates need to register with Teamtastic, and then they can join your team. If your team is 'closed', use the 'manage members' menu and then the 'add members' tab. Here you can add members by entering their Teamtastic username.
- Update your profiles - Each team member has their own personal profile in the team - including their role (e.g. player, coach, supporter, sponsor), a picture and their history with the team. You can access and edit your profile from 'my membership' on the left-hand menu.
- Build your network - You've got the people, got the cool site, now start building your team's network. Who do you support, who do you compete against? If you're in a club get your club on Teamtastic. You can build vertical networks (the club is part of the federation, your team is part of the club). Find out how to add a team to your network.
